Bio

Malinda loves to laugh… that is all. When she’s not laughing, she’ll humbly tell you about her journey as an actress.

Here goes.

Malinda earned a BFA in Acting from Ithaca College – studied NY and London – and she received dance and vocal training. Since then, she studied improv and characters at Upright Citizens Brigade, received on-camera training at American Academy of Dramatic Arts in LA, and became a founding member of The Paramount Hudson Valley Arts Theater Group in Peekskill. She’s performed in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington DC and London.

Fun fact: While performing in Euripides’ The Trojan Women (as a chorus woman and the cover for Hecuba), Malinda was also the show’s choreographer. Eager to round out her experience, Malinda became a film producer in January 2017 and directed her first staged play July 2017.

Did you know: Malinda’s on the brink of broadening her creative flow, and has begun writing. Just a few skits for now (to audiences that have found them hilarious), but her next production is sure to be named “viewer’s choice.” Her creativity flows in a myriad of ways from multiple entry points.
