Actress

Malinda loves to laugh… that is all. When she’s not laughing, she’ll humbly tell you about her journey as an actress.

Here goes.

Malinda received a BFA in Acting- studied at Ithaca College and in London- and she is a trained dancer and singer. Malinda studied improv and characters at Upright Citizens Brigade, received on-camera training at American Academy of Dramatic Arts in LA, and is an active member of The Paramount Hudson Valley Arts Theater Group in Peekskill. She’s performed in NYC, Maryland, Washington DC and London. She’s also performed in several theater and film productions, and musicals like The House of Blue Leaves as Little Nun, My Sister My Sister as Sue Belle, Quilt A Musical Celebration, the portrait the wind the chair as Lucy, and Sexual Dependency. While performing in Euripides’ The Trojan Women (as a chorus woman and the cover for Hecuba), Malinda was also the show’s choreographer. Eager to round out her experience, Malinda became a film producer in January 2017 and directed her first staged play July 2017. She’s continuously acting, directing, and producing.

Thank you for taking two minutes out of your life to read this journey. Much love for supporting the arts!
